The man of many talents, Loïc Veglia is our Graphic Designer

Logic Design is first and foremost a team. Each month, we’ll highlight a member of the #LogicTeam to give you a flavour of the people behind the scenes …

Working in a company entails shared projects, chatting around the coffee machine, adrenaline fuelled meetings,  making deadlines,  teamwork and celebrating victories. Despite these shared experiences everyone has personal stories to tell that fall outside the office environment. For this month, we are pleased to introduce you to Loïc a Graphic Designer, a man of many talents ?!

Loïc started out with an Applied Art course at the Brassart School of Tours. But prior to launching his career in graphics he decided on a different path. Over four years he worked with kids in neighbourhood centres, holiday locations and leisure centres. The daily challenge consisted of getting people together, coming up with new activities and never being short of ideas.

After a few seasons he decided to return to the world of graphics and embarked on a one year course at the Covisart School. He learn’t DTP which was in its infancy. “The student backgrounds were varied and the teaching was done by professionals. This gave us a big advantage in the job market”.

Loïc has been working for 5 year at Logic Design as a Graphic Designer. His job is to ensure concepts can be printed. Working upfront with designers,  he confirms that creative choices can be executed so that they remain true to what clients have validated and what appears on screen. Once the designers have finished, he works on the last technical adjustments needed for the printers. “What I like is the team mix. All of us depend on each other to bring projects over the finish line, each has his or her contribution”.

Outside of work, his passion for hiking regularly leads him to new places: Nepal, Cambodia, Romania, Mali, the crossing of the Jura, the Vosges … his solo walks bring him into contact with beautiful landscapes in France or further afield. However, this reconnection with nature does not make him a loner. On the contrary, teamwork is vital for him and he is fond of African saying “all alone we go faster, together we go further”.
